Benj Writing Site

Most friends will be aware that I lost my dear wife Cate in September 2020, after a very long and arduous struggle with breast cancer, borne with great fortitude and dignity. After many months of treatment, with regular visits to Oncology at Kent and Canterbury Hospital and QEQM in Margate, active treatment was stopped, and she died quietly at home in Deal, cared for by friends and family. We had massive support from the local NHS, and invaluable input from Pilgrims Hospices, Kent. Her own tribute site raised over £1000 in her memory.

My own writing activities have therefore been in suspended animation most of this year. However, we did manage to complete the illustrated account of our 2012 two-handed sailing trip round Britain, and I fulfilled my promise to Cate to have it published by Christmas. It’s available from Amazon now, with all royalties going to Pilgrims Hospice, in recognition of their support. Please buy a copy (preferably the paperback) in her memory.

The ebook costs £8.54 and £5.99 goes to Pilgrims
The paperback (much nicer!) is £29 because of the printing costs, but each copy will produce £7.93 for the Hospice.
The ideal solution to your Christmas presents!
